TMCC is seeking a Full-Time FIPSE Grant Manager to lead the day-to-day management of a high-impact federal grant supporting innovative workforce and apprenticeship pathways. This role is perfect for someone who loves collaboration, values accountability, and wants to help students turn hands-on training into real careers. As the FIPSE Grant Manager, you'll be the central hub connecting students, employers, faculty, finance, and federal partners. Your work ensures the grant runs smoothly, stays compliant, and delivers real results. You will love this role by playing a direct role in expanding access to high-quality workforce training. Your work will support students, apprentices, and employers across our region. You'll help TMCC demonstrate national leadership in innovative, employer-driven education. This is a grant funded position with funding to 12/31/29 and renewable contract is contingent upon available funds from secured grants.
Job Duties:
- Manage and monitor the full grant budget, ensuring expenditures align with approved grant objectives and timelines.
- Track spending, forecast budgets, and coordinate closely with TMCC finance and grants offices.
- Ensure all purchases and reimbursements meet federal, institutional, and FIPSE guidelines.
- Maintain detailed, audit-ready records in full compliance with Workforce Pell requirements.
- Track student eligibility, enrollment, completion, and outcomes tied to Workforce Pell reporting.
- Lead the ordering, tracking, and documentation of grant-funded equipment and instructional resources.
- Ensure procurement follows federal grant and TMCC purchasing requirements.
- Serve as a key liaison with apprentices, faculty, and local employer partners.
- Support apprenticeship program operations, coordination, and continuous improvement.
- Facilitate communication between TMCC and industry partners to align training with workforce needs.
- Prepare detailed, timely, and accurate reports for the U.S. Department of Education
- Track grant performance metrics, outcomes, and milestones.
- Ensure full compliance with federal regulations, reporting schedules, and documentation standards.
- Other Duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related experience; OR
- Associates degree and 4 years of related experience; OR
- 6 years of related experience
Related experience:
Experience in grant management, education/workforce development, or program coordination in a government or higher education setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with Department of Education grants.
- Previous experience as a principal investigator or with oversight of a grant funded position.
- Knowledge of the processes to develop and manage registered apprenticeships.
Salary and Benefits Information:
Salary: $65,105 - $81,381, initial salary placement will be dependent on education level and years of experience

Degrees must be accredited by CHEA - and USDE-Recognized Accrediting Organizations.
If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet qualification requirements, you must show that your education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university. Any expense related to the evaluation will be the responsibility of the candidate.
