Duties:

Coordinate the display of Art Works.
Coordinate the removal and replacement of art in the Robert Richard Smith Gallery, by qualified art handlers, to facilitate student art show exhibitions. The CCAC Educational Foundation will cover the costs of this process annually.
Determine any maintenance needs of the Robert Richard Smith art collection, including pieces on display and those in storage, and liaise with the CCAC Educational Foundation to cover those costs as funds are available.
Develop and maintain an ongoing inventory of the college's art collection, across all campuses and centers. Inform appropriate college leadership about any issues that arise.
Work with the CCAC Art Department on exhibitions and related programming for the Robert Richard Smith Gallery to include pieces of the Smith art collection and other works as desired.
Other related duties as required.

Requirements:

This is an independent contractor position and all taxes and expenses are handled by the contractor.

Clearances: Current criminal record/child abuse clearances will be required if offered the position and to be employed at the College. The three clearances are Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Records Check, and Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) Criminal Background Check. The College has provided instructions on how to obtain these clearances, which are available here.
